This is a tricky location as the sun disappears quickly down the coastline and you can lose the light really fast. Aerial photography is by far the best way to shoot this small coastal town.
Best shot in the late afternoon and into the evening. It’s a short and fairly easy hike to get to the top. Once there you have a panoramic view of the Wemmershoek Valley.
The best time to shoot is late afternoon, as the sun softens and the shadows fall long across the lavender. Summer is the best time of year to photograph this location.
